Recurrent pericarditis (RP) is the recurrence of pericarditis after a more than 4-6 week symptom-free period. RP is typically treated with steroids, colchicine, NSAIDs. Nevertheless, RP is associated with a high burden of disease and there is an unmet need for better treatment.
