Cosmic Etiology to RA and Polymyalgia Rheumatica

Researchers at Johns Hopkins, Mayo Clinic and the NIH have determined that solar cycles and geomagnetic effects may account for the incidence of RA and PMR. Adjusted yearly trends in the incidence of RA and PMR were found to significantly correlate with the F10.7 index and AL index (measures of solar energy and geomagnetic activity). Support comes from evidence of east-west asymmetries of RA and GCA outbreaks and the disease incidence that is in concert with solar cycles. Their findings show a greater incidence of these diseases in sections of the country that are more likely to be affected by geomagnetic activity. http://url.ie/z1cc
