      Behcets - oral ulcers not NECESSARY for dx and 20% may present with uveitis. Revascularization not recommended for Takayasu as first line tx- get inflammation under control. Good skin biopsy needs fat to diagnose medium vessel vasculitis so go deep. Dr. West #ACR19 @RheumNow

      Pearls from Dr. West. GCA oral ulcers usually mid portion of lat tongue. If neutrophils or necrosis on TAB then could be ANCA vasculitis. For GPA scleritis use rituximab first. GPA can cause 7th nerve palsy + facial droop. #ACR19 @RheumNow #ACRbest
