Do you know the 3 types of Y. Pestis plague? @AdamJBrownMD reviews the Bubonic, Pneumonic, and Septicemia plagues at #ACR22 @RheumNow. Most recently, there was an outbreak of Pneumonic plague in Madagascar in the 2010s!

The ability to prevent RA in individuals at risk is a holy grail in rheumatology. There is a long history dating back to the PROMPT trial of methotrexate and PRAIRIE trial of rituximab. Both otrials showed an effect, but it seemed more likely to be a delaying of RA than prevention or modulation. Abstr #0195 examined acceptance of Virtual Reality among pts w/ rheumatic diseases (RD)
- VR naïve & experienced were willing to use VR to manage their RD
