Use of HCQ was not associated with development of ❤️Heart Failure in patients with RA. There was no statistically significant association between the cumulative dose of HCQ & HF. A good study from #MayoClinic. #EULAR2020 #eular20 https://t.co/yG03e0TAcV

Can machine learning/AI predict who will respond & get remission in RA prior to bDMARD? High dose steroids, older age high ESR long disease duration worse outcomes but not same for each drug. OP0023 @eular_org #EULAR2020 @RheumNow @CRASCRRheum @earlyarthritis https://t.co/oNXDVQbzMC

We're still poor at estimating the chance of remission with bDMARDs for individuals w RA - but maybe AI can help provide them with a personalised prediction of their chances of success? Remission predicted here w 57-73% accuracy.

Case control study to see if MTX is assoc with ILD in RA. Hypersensitivity pneumonitis pts were excluded. MTX use assoc with DELAYED onset of ILD so protective. let my RA pts use MTX if ILD or increased ILD risk ex male old +RF OP0036 @RheumNow @eular_org @CRASCRRheum #EULAR2020 https://t.co/NGM4t2OKTP
