Nintedanib brought modest benefit to IPF & SSc-ILD, but now ILD in other autoimmune dx as well?
Small but real diff in lung volumes, no diff in QOL or acute exac/deaths, diarrhea but largely not limiting in study. Works in absence of alt, but worth it?

Ileal but not colonic inflammatory gut lesions are linked to more fatty lesions on MRI-SIJ in newly diagnosed SpA patients. Baseline microscopic gut inflammation was not associated with erosions, sclerosis nor ankylosis. DeCraemer et al #ACR19 @RheumNow #axialspondyloarthritis

ACOG recommends low dose ASA for all pregnant women with lupus. But we’re not doing well...in a multi-national SLE cohort of 475 pts, only 25% were exposed to ASA. #ACR19 @RheumNow #lupus

Abstr#808 Pt2 of GiACTA:
*42% of pts in remission and on no tx after 1 yr of wkly TCZ maintained tx free remission for 2 more yrs
*GCSs over 3yrs lower in pts originally assigned TCZ
*For flares, reinitiating TCZ restored remission
*No new safety signals

Fatigue is a big deal for pts with ERA but if rapid remission by 3 months fatigue improvement is better and differences persist for 5 years but mean fatigue is not normal #ACR19 @RheumNow abstr#461 https://t.co/hDbPmCql1m

I didn’t realize how fast Pegloticase works.
Assuming the urate burden of a gout patient, Pegloticase can degrade all the urate in the body over 5-40 days!
