@jeffsparks @pkiely500 @RheumNow Thanks for clarifying that. I suspect it would be very difficult to analyse, and it would be a brave person who did a double blind RCT of MTX vs another DMARD in RA ILD!

YOU need to know about checkpoint inhibitors for immune surveillance to treat melanoma and other cancers. Immune mediated adverse events presented at this mtg range from 7 ~70% depending on drug, pts, Cancer. Rx with 2 inhibitors increases risk. MSk problems 2% #ACR18 @RheumNow

#ACR18 #2925 - Fascinating study by Xenofon Baraliakos: vertebral fatty lesions (defined by MRI) in AS biopsied at spinal surgery. Confirms that fatty lesions indeed contain fat (in contrast to degen discs). Adipocytes seem to favour osteoblast activity.
