At Midwestern University in Phoenix, Arizona, he is adjunct clinical associate professor in the College of Health Sciences and adjunct assistant professor in the Division of Clinical Education. He is also a practicing rheumatologist at Arizona Arthritis and Rheumatology Associates, PC, in Phoenix. Dr. Tesser has been principal investigator for over 300 clinical research trials studying all forms of rheumatic diseases, with an emphasis on rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, SLE, and osteoporosis. In addition, he has authored numerous articles for many peer-reviewed medical journals, including The New England Journal of Medicine, The Journal of Rheumatology, and Arthritis & Rheumatology.
