@jeffsparks @pkiely500 @RheumNow Thanks for clarifying that. I suspect it would be very difficult to analyse, and it would be a brave person who did a double blind RCT of MTX vs another DMARD in RA ILD!

Is serum calcoprotectin a new biomarker for developing RA? Fecal calprotectin is used for disease activity in Crohns. ABST 1863 showed better prediction adding to RF &CCP. Not sure of clinical relevance yet. ACR18 @RheumNow https://t.co/Pym49j3iz2

ACR highlights. Many Scleroderma trials were close to positive. Tocilizumab, Abatacept & Riociguat. In PsA safety and effectiveness of IL17 and also apremilast persist. Jaki safety and benefit in RA and no new signals of VTE. New SLE criteria #ACR18 @RheumNow

YOU need to know about checkpoint inhibitors for immune surveillance to treat melanoma and other cancers. Immune mediated adverse events presented at this mtg range from 7 ~70% depending on drug, pts, Cancer. Rx with 2 inhibitors increases risk. MSk problems 2% #ACR18 @RheumNow
