A large, retrospective, multinational study of patients with antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis (AAV) shows they may be at risk for cardiovascular events (CVEs). A total of 2286 AAV patients from the European Union, China, Turkey, Russia, United Kingdom, and USA were included. Primary outcomes included myocardial infarction (MI) and stroke. 

During nintedanib treatment for interstitial lung disease associated with systemic sclerosis (SSc-ILD), clinicians prescribing the drug should be watchful for an unusual, indirect side effect, trial data suggested.

A multicenter cohort study reported a large cohort of pediatric patients receiving TNF inhibitor therapy complicated by psoriasis, regardless of treatment indication or the specific TNF inhibitor. Paradoxical psoriasis arising from TNF inhibition has been well described in adults, with a reported risk between 1/100 and 1/1000.
