Creaky Joints Presentations at the ACR16 Meeting Save
CreakyJoints will be presenting 5 Posters at the 2016 ACR/AHRP Annual Meeting. At the meeting they will also announce the publication of first-ever Rheumatoid Arthritis Patient Guidelines.
CreakyJoints.com is an impactful online source for more than 100,000 arthritis patients and their families worldwide who are seeking education, support, advocacy and patient-centered research.
In partnership with Yale University School of Medicine, data collected from a sample of CreakyJoints members identified five major RA patient preference phenotypes may help HCPs work with patients to make informed treatment choices during clinical appointments.
Another poster highlights results from the CreakyJoints research engagement project, BeTTER SAID, being conducted in partnership with RAND Corporation, and funded by the Patient Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). BeTTER SAID (Bringing Stakeholders Together for Engagement in Research for the Selection of Arthroplasty Implant Devices) aims to develop a cohort of patients, patient advocates, researchers, physicians/surgeons, and health system leaders examining strategies to improve joint replacement device safety and effectiveness.
Data for the two of the posters were collected via ArthritisPower, the first ever patient-led, patient-centered research registry for arthritis, bone, and inflammatory skin conditions.
