I Can't Believe it's Not Seronegative Rheumatoid Arthritis?!

In rheumatology, we're no stranger to uncertainty. In any diagnosis of seronegative rheumatoid arthritis, it's always our invitation to reconsider the diagnosis.

Thank you Daric!

This was super helpful to
steer our dDX and follow up when we have a patient with a good story and exam yet reassuring (seronegative) labs.

Have shared with our FP and IntMed team

Thanks again!

Thank you !

Thank you for the presentation.
Please add to your list Whipple's disease. May look very similar to seronegative RA, and arthritis often the first manifestation. Average time from first visit to diagnosis - approximately 7 years, very humbling for those of us who have had cases. I would also add GPA - may present with polyarthritis before other manifestations.

Susan,

Thank you for the feedback. DDx for seronegative RA is certainly quite long and I agree with both of your suggestions to add to the list. For the sake of time this video was just a review of a few suspects, I could’ve made this video an hour long lecture ;)

Hi
Thanks for your contribution to the topic of RAre mimics.
Looking back to more then 4 decades in clinical Rheumatology I wish this topic would have received more attention in the past. I'm sure/afraid I missed quite a few.
Best wishes
