This has been lost a bit in recent years because of the shift from care to volume, driven by financial considerations. I am hopeful though, that the current move to value that we begin to witness will again appreciate this kind of care that really helps the patient. Indeed, you may have done more for Mrs Goldstein and her "outcome" than any med or technical intervention could possibly do.
