By induction I assume you mean to over treat by front loading with multiple therapies. I liked the idea 15 yrs ago, but research has only shown us that it gets you faster responses, not necessarily better long term responses.....but then again maybe that means we have yet to hit on the right "induction therapy". Until we get the concoction right, we can only treat, change, treat, change and change until remission or the panic button appears. Faster changes, better drugs, backed up by simple measures seems to be prudent. We dont yet have a biomarker to help make these "right and timely changes". I do like your idea for change! (But I dont believe we need anything more than an ACR20! - more on that in future discussions we will have !) Thanks John!
