Mike: Thus far, over 43 cases of severe SLE have been reported in the medical literature. If you message me on Twitter or LinkedIn, I can give you the references. Almost all of them went into drug-free remission with acceptable safety profiles (surprisingly low numbers of infections). I've only heard of one relapse thus far. In my 35 yrs of caring for SLE patients, we have never had results like this on this scale. I truly believe this is a new chapter in the treatment of autoimmune diseases: there are also great results in myasthenia gravis, Sjogren's disease, RA, and others
