Abatacept in Early Systemic Sclerosis (ASSET study)
An open-label extension of the ASSET trial (abatacept in diffuse cutaneous systemic sclerosis) showed continued safety with significant improvements in the modified Rodnan Skin Score (mRSS) at 12 months, suggesting abatacept (ABA) may benefit early systemic sclerosis (SSc).

Data from MUSE & TULIP trials of #anifrolumab in #SLE show increased risk of #herpeszoster when compared to placebo. Most HZ events mild-moderate, cutaneous and resolved without discontinuation of drug.

ANA antibodies in longitudinal #SLE cohort:
- 759 patients
- 84.8% remained ANA+ve during 5yr followup period
- Pts w/ at least one -ve ANA in first 5yrs had milder disease (lower SLEDAI-2K, less steroid, fewer autoantibodies)
