Panelists Dr. Sheila Reyes, Dr. Adela Castro, Dr. Mike Putman and Dr. Jack Cush recap the most interesting abstracts and presentations they saw on day 1 of the 2024 ACR Convergence meeting in Washington, DC. In addition to the Year in Review session, panelists discussed abstracts 0819, 0505, 0770, 0458, 0599 and 0742.

The fact that Gout fare can be followed by CVS event and then Colchicine can prevent certain CVS events including stent restenosis, it probably should be used over those NSAID and Steroid, as the latter also carry cvs-TE risk.
The Keypoint is to treat them early, if they are not on Colchicine prophylaxis, and use it "wisely"
